Our Health, Safety and CDM service provides clients with the peace of mind that we understand their business needs and have their best interests at the very core of our delivery.


Health & Safety
The principal designer must establish a fundamental part of health and safety from concept to project completion. At SSC Partnership, we understand that meeting these legal obligations and keeping employees, designers, contractors and others safe in the longer term is vital to the success of our client’s business. We also recognise and respond to the additional statutory duties that CDM 2015 places on our clients.
Our service includes…
- Planning, managing and monitoring the co-ordination of the pre-construction phase.
- Liaising with the principal contractor for the duration of our appointment.
- Helping clients identify, obtain and collate pre-construction information.
- Co-ordinating significant health and safety issues with the design team through to resolution.
- Aiding the Client Evaluation process.
- Communicating our progress and raising awareness of potential health and safety issues.
- Supporting the principal contractor in seeking and obtaining responses to health and safety queries from designers.
- Agreeing a format and compiling the statutory health and safety file for formal handover at project completion.
- Assisting in the development of the initial brief.
- Attending design review meetings.
